We use a lot of helpful resources at school. Here are some of the ones that are our favorites. Some of the websites do require logins. I have tried to include the codes for websites if needed. If something isn’t working, please let Mrs. Day know.

Meet some new characters or learn some new facts by checking the books available in the library catalog.

There are some great resources like CultureGrams, Britannica Encyclopedia articles, Learn360, PebbleGo, and Tumblebooks. Whether you are researching for class or just curious to learn more about something, you can find a lot of information here.

This website has a lot of fun facts that help you with homework. There are also some games and trivia puzzles.

National Geographic Kids
Students who love animals will want to check out this website. It is great for animal research, but also has some fun games and videos too.

Citation for Beginners Video
When you use a picture or write about an idea your saw online, make sure that you are giving the person credit for their work. This video has some great tips to tell you how to do this.

Common Sense Digital Passport Games for 3rd-5th Graders
It is important to have a strong password, stay focused on tasks and know what information is safe to share. Sometimes it can be hard to tell who can you trust online. There is also a game to help you realize what cyberbullying is and how you should respond to it. These games help you think about passwords, multi-tasking, being kind and sharing information online.

Bullying in person and online are very serious actions. This website has some facts and videos to help you make sure that you are not being bullied or bullying someone else. If you are being bullied, please let me or another adult know.
